After being closed for 18 months due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside has reopened.
Walt Disney World 50th anniversary banners greet guests driving into the resort.
At the main entrance, Cast Members have rolled out a red carpet.
Purple banners with balloons attached were on either side of the red carpet.
Cast Members were happy to be back.
There are also new 50th anniversary welcome mats.
Yehaa Bob will return to the River Roost Lounge tonight with a modified show.
Fulton’s General Store is open with Port Orleans merchandise.
Guests can currently complete online check-in and proceed directly to their room.
Outside, guests can once again catch the Sassagoula River Cruise to Disney Springs.
These boats are available from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
The Haunted Mansion sign is part of the 50th anniversary scavenger hunt available at select resorts.
A sign reminds guests that they will have to go through security at Disney Springs.
Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter will reopen on October 28.
