Two new platforms were erected on the Cinderella Castle stage in Magic Kingdom a few days ago. Gold railings have now been added to the platforms’ staircases.
The gold railings match the gold on the castle and the 50th anniversary decorations.
Some planters cover up unfinished areas around the platforms.
The platforms are slightly different than the platforms that used to be on the stage. They are the same level instead of one being higher than the other.
The old platforms had archways atop them, and it remains to be seen if these will have similar decorations.
The gold railings are the same design as the white railings around the edge of the stage.
Of course, the gold railings look much nicer.
There was also a reminder for future crew members to “paint this side.”
The railings do not utilize the holes in the steps.
A piece of scrim remains on the other side of the platform.
There are also holes near the front, indicating something will be installed there.
The two platforms are almost identical, right down to the piece of scrim and potted plants.
