Drawing inspiration from Walt Disney World’s history, the 50th anniversary Vault Collection of merchandise has consistently impressed us, and the latest addition is no exception.
A set of three metal signs is now available as part of the collection, featuring retro designs from the resort’s early days (and even from before its opening).
The set includes classic 1970s art of Mickey Mouse standing in front of Cinderella Castle, the Mickey globe “D” logo noting that the resort “Opens Oct. ’71,” and a green Florida license plate, a replica of the original park offering. These signs are sure to be a welcome addition to any history buff’s collection.
The set retails for $49.99. We found them at Bonjour! Village Gifts in the Magic Kingdom.
