The 50th anniversary party doesn’t stop at the parks as celebrations continue at Disney Springs. Over at Amorette’s Patisserie, the newest confection is a 50th celebration petit cake that glimmers with EARidescence.
50th Celebration Petit Cake – $22
Vanilla Chiffon Cake with Celebration Blue Mousse, Blueberry Jam, and Lemon Curd
The cake is light and fluffy, with sweet blueberry jam that perfectly complements the lemon curd. The curd cuts through the sweetness of the jam.
The geode is made of rock candy and is sprinkled with EARidescent glitter. The medallion is made of milk chocolate. The chocolate really doesn’t do anything for the cake but the medallion ties in the 50th design. The outside is made of fondant.
This cake was fantastic. The flavor profile worked so well and the presentation is perfect for this sparkling occasion. Don’t skip this!
