Avast! Several days after the rest of the play area welcomed guests once more, the top deck of Me Ship, The Olive has finally reopened at Universal’s Islands of Adventure.

The ropes blocking the staircase have been removed, so let’s explore!

You can get a bird’s-eye view of the ship’s smokestack, featuring the likeness of Popeye’s greatest love, Olive Oyl.

Inside the bridge of the ship, you can see where Popeye has hidden his stash of spinach. (Let’s hope Bluto never finds this!)

Guests can take the helm as they move the steering wheel…

…or for a change of speed, they can change the speed! (Not that the ship actually goes anywhere, mind you.)

Photography lovers can enjoy fantastic views from the outside of the deck, including a great opportunity to capture a shot of The Incredible Hulk Coaster.

So far, the only portion of the ship that remains closed is the slide, which takes young guests back down to the bottom deck.

Still, whether you’re looking to play or a great place to take a picture, it’s all hands on deck on Popeye’s interactive vessel!
