A seemingly random assortment of characters made a surprise appearance this morning at Pete’s Silly Sideshow in Storybook Circus at Magic Kingdom. With traditional character meet-and-greets suspended, Pete’s Silly Sideshow has been closed since March 2020. Now that some indoor meet-and-greets are returning as distanced “sightings,” we’ve been keeping an eye on Pete’s.
The tent opened for a limited group of guests this morning.
Inside, we met King Louie from “The Jungle Book.”
And Rafiki from “The Lion King.” Note that the backdrops for Minnie and the gang are covered in red curtains.
Next up was Big Al from the Country Bear Jamboree.
Finally, we got to meet Pluto.
These sightings were most likely training for Cast Members and won’t be returning daily.
