Walt Disney World is celebrating the holidays with plenty of new sugary snacks. At Disney’s Hollywood Studios, guests can cool down with a holiday candy cane shake piled high with goodies.

The shake is available at Hollywood Scoops on Sunset Boulevard.

The donut on top of this shake is actually enjoyable. Donuts on top of shakes in the past have been dry and spongy.

This donut tasted fresher. It was moist with a nice chocolate flavor.

We also enjoyed the sweetness from the white chocolate frosting and with some of the candy cane pieces for an extra crunch.

The shake itself — which came in this cute character-lined cup — tasted like vanilla with peppermint.

It seems to be peppermint icing that’s holding the candy cane pieces on, and it held very well. Normally, the icing on one of these types of shakes would make the sprinkles slide all over the place. The peppermint pieces add an extra bit of awesome to sips of the shake.

The overall flavor is nice and pleasant. The peppermint is not overwhelming and the shake isn’t too sweet. It’s more light and airy, almost like blended whipped cream.

This was delicious and photogenic — especially when compared to its predecessor, the Halloween candy corn shake — so we definitely recommend it.
