The new CookieAnn Bakery Café has opened on Mickey Avenue at Shanghai Disney Resort.

Duffy and Friends are popular characters at Shanghai Disney Resort, and the new bakery highlights those characters alongside Mickey and Minnie. The story of the café is that Minnie Mouse opened a bakery to highlight the culinary talents of CookieAnn for all their friends and guests.

A series of murals share the story of Mickey, Minnie, CookieAnn, and their friends setting off on a confectionery adventure. The murals were a collaboration between Shanghai Art Director Aileen Li and two Californian Imagineers: Lina Barr and Laura West.

The murals show the friends picking fresh ingredients, baking and decorating, and enjoying the fruits of their labor.

Inside the bakery, guests can purchase a selection of baked goods and treats, including pastries, cookies, soufflé pancakes, creative milkshakes, and specialty hot beverages.

A vintage oven in the center of the café features animations of treats baking inside.

Of course, CookieAnn can also be found, alongside other souvenirs.
