Structures continue to take shape in the construction site of Journey of Water Inspired by “Moana” in EPCOT.

There are a few large dirt piles next to the trenches that were excavated a few months ago.

A standalone wall sits in the middle of the site.

Some concrete supports aren’t yet supporting anything.

Several large pipes were sitting nearby today.

Crew members are now working in a trench directly behind this construction wall.

A rebar frame creates a rectangle next to a corrugated wall.

That big trench and the rebar they are puting up is for the holding tank for the water aka surge pit this is where the pumps draw from to push it either thru the filter or to the features in the attraction.
Add people for scale and suddenly the trench is a lot deeper than I thought it was from other pictures (I haven’t seen it in person yet)
Looking forward to seeing this in person!
