Construction has begun next to Woody’s Lunch Box in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The quick-service location is believed to be getting a much needed expanded seating area.

More room is much needed at Woody’s, which is often overcrowded.

A row of hedges lines one side of the currently available seating area.

Red poles line the expansion.

There are also fans pointing down into the area.

The ground is still just a dirt lot.

A Cast Member said they believe the area will be shaded, which may mean these red poles will hold the shade.

Right now, the tops of the poles are wrapped in foam sheets.

Green scrim is wrapped around some of the themed elements within the pre-existing seating area.

Has anyone made a shirt about the Disney mobile hedges of mystery? I just find it hilarious they’ve got these hedges on wheels at the ready for the worst covering up of new construction coming I’ve ever seen. Want to know where something new is coming to the park, look for hedges on wheels.
It would be great to see this project which has gotten zero official mention in a long time still come to be. HS could use more dining options, particularly at this area of the park. Fingers crossed.
Whatever happened with the barbeque restaurant they were putting in next to Woody’s Lunch Box?
They stopped construction and it’s sitting there, but it isn’t next door to Lunchbox.
