Gail Evans has been named Executive Vice President, Chief Digital and Technology Officer for Disney Parks, Experiences and Products.
Evans worked at Mercer for the past six years and was named their first Global Chief Digital Officer in June 2018. Before that, she had worked for Microsoft, Hewlett-Packard, Bank of America, and Eastman Kodak in various managerial positions.
Her description on LinkedIn reads, “As a digital technology leader, I find new opportunities for technology innovation, strategy and transformation, and I work alongside inspiring teams of consultants, leaders and developers to deliver new tech stack and agility wherever possible. From Big Data/AI and PaaS to Cognitive Computing and Cloud solutions, I am firm believer in the power of technology to deliver transformative solutions at scale that impact people’s lives.”
Evans also states she is “passionate about using my time to find new growth opportunities for women in the workplace by fostering collaboration, building relationships and inspiring colleagues to constantly learn and adapt.”
