Good Morning America released a video this morning previewing the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser (now that the media embargo has ended). They were able to share an in-depth look at lightsaber training, secret missions, and more.
This is inside the launch pod guests enter Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser through.
Here’s the Halcyon as seen from the launch pod window.
Good Morning America sat down with CEO Bob Chapek in the Halcyon bridge.
Lightsaber training takes place in a special training pod, where guests must deflect low-level energy blasts.
Saja Leo’gwa is the lightsaber trainer onboard.
Guests will be able to help the First Order or the Resistance, which means interacting face-to-face with Chewbacca. Good Morning America helped Chewie and Sammie, the ship mechanic, in the engineering room.
Good Morning America also invited a Make-A-Wish child to Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser. Watch the full video in their tweet below.
We will be on the first public Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser cruise starting March 1, 2022. Stay tuned for our coverage.
