A mural has been hung inside Connections Café and Eatery, a new counter-service restaurant and Starbucks coming soon to EPCOT.
The mural can be seen from World Discovery. It is on the wall to the right of these doors.
The mural is lit with yellow light. People are visible, as is what looks like the top of a palm tree.
This appears to be an extension of the mural seen in concept art and teased by Walt Disney Imagineer Zach Riddley last year. The mural seems to wrap around the corner of the wall.
Colorful lighting has been visible inside Connections for a while now.
We can see orange strips of light in one section of the restaurant.
Tarps have been removed from the windows of this section of the building. We can see white columns, as well as construction equipment, inside.
This section of the building has also been painted a new off-white color, matching the neighboring Creations Shop.
Closer to Spaceship Earth, we saw part of a Connections Café and Eatery sign waiting to be installed.
It is only half the sign, reading “Conne” and “Eatery.”
There is no announced opening date for Connections Café and Eatery.
