Construction walls have been erected around The Little Mermaid ~ Ariel’s Undersea Adventure at Disney California Adventure. The ride remains open while construction is ongoing outside.
We captured photos of the walls throughout the past few days, but didn’t see many changes.
The walls aren’t themed, just an off-white color with squares of latticework.
The walls almost completely surround the attraction’s façade.
No scaffolding or tarps have been erected on the façade, indicating that — at least for now — construction work is on the pavement and not the building.
One day, there was an open gap in the construction walls.
Through the gap, we could see a hole in the pavement. It is likely being replaced.
The gap was later closed.
The attraction did close for a few days earlier this year for a basic refurbishment.
