Newer Disney attractions have been using projection mapping for a colorful, immersive and seamless feel without multiple animatronics.

Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway is a trackless dark ride similar to Enchanted Tale of Beauty and the Beast at Tokyo Disneyland or Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, also in Disney’s Hollywood Studios where guests take a journey through the park with Mickey, Minnie, and Goofy… until something goes horribly wrong!
