REVIEW: Brazil Fails with New Feijoda Dish at the 2022 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival
If you were sad that Brazil didn’t add any new menu items last year during the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival, then you’ll be delighted to know that this year there is a new dish! For the 2022 festival, Brazil is now serving Feijoda, a rice dish with crispy pork belly and nut pesto.

*NEW* Feijoda: Black Beans with Crispy Pork Belly, Brazil Nut Pesto and Ben’s Original™ Long Grain White Rice – $6.25
This dish is new to the festival, and it seems they still have some tweaking to do if it’s going to stay on the menu. We found the pork belly really difficult to cut, and it didn’t appear to be cooked very well. The real standout part of this dish was the supporting flavors that came from the rice and beans. Pass on this for now.
Pão de Queijo: Brazilian Cheese Bread – $4.75
It’s incredibly difficult to recommend these at over $2 each for a piece of cheese bread, even if they are pretty spectacular. You can find a bag of Brazi-Bites in your local grocer for a fraction of the cost if you want to indulge in cheese paradise.

From Total Beverage Solution: “Pouring a deep, dark black, Xingu Black has aromatic notes of sweet fruits, peach and plums warming to darker fruit notes with a charred undertone. The taste is that of peach, apricot and roasted malts.”
Frozen Caipirinha with Cachaça- $11.00
A decent portion for the price that tastes like an alcoholic lemonade with just a bit more tartness than expected. It’s Brazil’s national drink, so they must be doing something right because it’s rather refreshing and enjoyable.
