If you’ve ever been in the middle of a long line at Disneyland dreaming about a snack or maybe grabbing a misting fan, your prayers have finally been answered in the Space Mountain queue as Disney has opened a small retail kiosk within!

Twitter user @Sammyland6 spotted the kiosk open yesterday on the upper level of the former Starcade space currently used as Space Mountain’s extended queue. Items on sale appear to include bagged nuts, some prepackaged popcorn, and those blue misting fans we all know and love.

When we passed through today, the stand was closed. But it doesn’t consist of much.

There’s a single stand for those items we mentioned earlier, no cooler for a bottle of water, which would be helpful for those misting fans or on a hot California summer day.

The POS station is on a movable cart and connected via an extension cable to the nearest outlet. There’s nothing special about it otherwise.

When we spoke to a Cast Member at the Space Mountain queue, they informed us that it has no set hours and will be staffed as availability allows.

  1. Cash grab everywhere you turn. Might as well give them your FICO score at the gate then they can tell what you are able to purchase.
