REVIEW: New Tiana-Inspired Wishing On Stars Cake Arrives at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort for World Princess Week

Among the new treats available at Walt Disney World for World Princess Week is the Princess Tiana-inspired Wishing On Stars cake. You can grab this dessert from Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter.

The white chocolate glaçage has a bit of a weird texture, almost like jello.

The white chocolate Tiana piece tastes like the paper-like topper on many Walt Disney World desserts.

The olive oil cake is nice and moist. We wish there was more cake to balance the banana cream mousse.

The mousse is nice, with a light and fluffy consistency. We didn’t get any crunch from the feuilletine.

This was an okay dessert but we didn’t like the texture or the jello-like consistency. We would go for another Disney Princess treat, like the Aurora fruit tart.

That said, this cake will be available past the end of World Princess Week on August 27.
