Crew members have begun testing the water features for Journey of Water Inspired by “Moana,” a walkthrough attraction that will open in late 2023 at EPCOT.
Crew members were atop the scaffolding around the rock structure featuring Te Fiti’s spiral.
They were working on a water spout that sends water down the front of the rock, across the spiral.
Another crew member was a level below them, in front of the spiral.
Journey of Water will have a 16-foot-tall figure of Te Fiti and small Kakamora figures. It will be part of the World Nature neighborhood of EPCOT.
