Happy holidays from Magic Kingdom. We are back reporting from the most magical place on earth! We plan on doing some shopping and checking the Fab 50 statues for holiday sound effects. We will be sure to report on all the new things we find. Let’s get started.
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is now fully sold out for 2022.
It’s a rainy day here in Magic Kingdom. We are going to make the best of our day here! It’s truly magical even when it’s raining.
First we decided to stop into the Emporium and do some shopping! A new Mickey Mouse gingerbread man ear hat has arrived. This is the perfect festive hat to wear for the holidays.
New Christmas themed plush pet toys are now available for your best pal.
A new pair of plaid Mickey ears has arrived in time for the holidays. This ear headband features a plaid design and a soft faux shearling lining.
The side of the headband reads, “Joy,” with a Mickey Mouse icon replacing the letter “O.”
A festive new “The Merriest Place on Earth,” magnet has arrived. This magnet features Mickey and Minnie Mouse decorating a Christmas tree for the holidays.
A cozy new pair of Minnie Ear headbands have arrived in Walt Disney World. These pink fluffy ears have a polka dot bow and are part of the Piglet Pink collection.
A Walt Disney World logo magnet has arrived in the Emporium.
Center Street has been updated with some more brick work.
It looks as though the construction on Center Street is just about complete and should be opened soon.
In Main Street Confectionary, we spotted new festive Pixar themed tins available for purchase. These tins are sold empty so that you can give them as gifts and fill them on your own. The first tin features Mike and Sully from “Monsters, Inc.” The second tin features WALL-E and EVE.
We decided to check out the Fab 50 statues to see if they were playing holiday sounds. These sound effects can be activated by waving a MagicBand+ at the statues. We caught Minnie saying, “Hello everyone, happy holidays to all of you too.” Mickey states, “I just love the holidays.”
Chip ‘n’ Dale say, “happy holidays, Merry Christmas.”
Winnie the Pooh says, “Merry Christmas to one and all.”
Stitch says, “Merry Christmas.”
The entrance to the TRON Lightcycle / Run roller coaster was lit today.
New Christmas themed magnets are available in Frontier Trading Post. The first magnet states, “The Merriest Place on Earth,” and features Mickey and Minnie decorating a tree.
There was also a Minnie Mouse magnet with a festive Christmas bow.
We also spotted new Christmas ornaments featuring Stitch and Olaf in Frontier Trading Post.
