The holiday season has kicked off at Walt Disney World and we’re at Disney’s Hollywood Studios to try all the new treats. Rosie’s All-American Café is featuring the new Santa Mickey Mouse Cupcake alongside the returning Frozen Salted Caramel Hot Cocoa.
Santa Mickey Mouse Cupcake – $5.99
Chocolate cake filled with mocha fudge and topped with red almond buttercream, white chocolate, and dark chocolate Mickey Mouse ears
The buttercream frosting on this cupcake is very delicious.
There is a weird slight chemical taste that may be coming from the chocolate cake. The cake is on the dry side, and we would have liked it to be moister.
The mocha fudge inside the cupcake is very good, but we wish there would have been more to balance out the dryness of the cake.
Overall it is very good, besides the slight chemical aftertaste.
Frozen Salted Caramel Hot Cocoa – $5.49
topped with mini marshmallows and chocolate sauce.
This drink is really delicious and rich. It’s a pretty big size; a lot for one person.
The drink itself is a frozen version of hot cocoa, complete with marshmallows on top with chocolate drizzle.
We actually preferred the nonalcoholic version of the frozen hot cocoa better than the alcoholic version. Frozen hot cocoa is a great drink to enjoy in the hot weather.
Frozen Salted Caramel Hot Cocoa with Cherry Bourbon — $13.50
topped with mini marshmallows and chocolate sauce.
You really have to like cherry to like this bourbon frozen hot cocoa.
There is such a strong cherry taste, and it is good, but we actually preferred the non-alcoholic version.
The Frozen Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate is available at PizzeRizzo, Backlot Express, ABC Commissary, and Rosie’s All–American Café.
Both items are available through January 1.
