Water taxi service has returned to Universal Orlando Resort after a week-long refurbishment of the CityWalk dock.
Water taxis transport guests to and from the Loews Portofino Bay Hotel, Hard Rock Hotel, Loews Royal Pacific Resort, and Loews Sapphire Falls Resort. Guests can also walk from the hotels to CityWalk, which takes five to fifteen minutes depending on your resort.
The water taxi service was down for about a week as some minor refurbishment was done on the water taxi dock. The scope of the refurbishment wasn’t made public, but it clearly wasn’t a dire situation.
The slow-moving boat service can help save some extra steps when venturing from the Loews Portofino Bay Hotel, Hard Rock Hotel, Loews Royal Pacific Resort, and Loews Sapphire Falls Resort. The water taxi runs from 30 minutes before Early Park Admission until 2:30a.m. except during cases of inclement weather.
Multiple water taxis run at one time so guests don’t have to wait too long at the docks.
