The menu has been posted for Earl of Sandwich Tavern, a temporary table-service Earl of Sandwich location opening soon at Downtown Disney District.

Training was in progress when we stopped by the restaurant this week. A sign at the gate announces that something “new and exciting” will be coming soon.

The menu — which includes starters, soup, salads, sandwiches, and other entrées — is different from the menu at the quick-service Earl of Sandwich counter.

The temporary quick-service Earl of Sandwich location reopened on February 1, just over a year after its previous location closed for the reimagining of the Downtown Disney District. Like the quick-service location, Earl of Sandwich Tavern will be located in the former La Brea Bakery location, presumably until a new permanent home for the restaurant is constructed. The small dining area will be home to the restaurant and a full bar.

This space is eventually set to be demolished and used for the Porto’s Bakery location announced at D23 Expo 2022. Much like the Main Street Electrical Parade, Earl of Sandwich just won’t stay dead at Disneyland and we expect it will have a permanent location once the reimagining is complete.
