DLP Rescue Rangers have shared more concept art on Twitter of the Disneyland Hotel in Disneyland Paris, which is currently closed for a “royal transformation.” We already saw concept art of the hotel’s new “Beauty and the Beast” lobby and the new California Grill, also inspired by the “tale as old as time.” This time the concept art is from inside the Disneyland Hotel lobby. Let’s take a look.
The tweet, when translated from French, reads, “Remember the pretty aviary that once stood in the center of Main Street Lounge at the Disneyland Hotel. This concept art seems to indicate that the aviary will no longer be present when the hotel reopens.”
Of course, stateside there is a similarly themed Victorian-style hotel at Walt Disney World: Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. Enchanted Rose, a “Beauty and the Beast” themed bar and lounge opened at Disney’s Grand Floridian back in 2019. Also, as you can see in the photo below, the lobby at the Grand Floridian also has been home to a giant birdcage similar to the one at the Disneyland Hotel in Disneyland Paris.
Could we see the aviary at Disney’s Grand Floridian ripped out and replaced in a similar fashion to what is happening at Disneyland Hotel in Disneyland Paris? Let us know what you think in the comments.
