PHOTOS: Cafe Daisy Menus & ‘Welcome to Toontown’ Sign Installed, Stroller Parking Added, and More in Mickey’s Toontown at Disneyland

Mickey’s Toontown is set to fully reopen after its yearlong reimagining on March 19, and the finishing touches are still coming in across the land, even in areas already open to guests! In just the past couple of days, we’ve spotted plenty of new signage as well as a few other changes, so let’s take a quick stroll through what’s open.

A new “Welcome to Toontown!” sign is visible to the right as guests enter the land. The welcome part is atop in blue and features a town insignia on top and ornamentation below, both with Mickey Mouse silhouettes incorporated.

The sign declares that Toontown is a “Best Friend City” with Duckburg, Spoonerville, Hot Dog Hills, and Mouseton. For those not in the know, those are the cities from “DuckTales,” “Goof Troop” and “A Goofy Movie,” “Mickey and the Roadster Racers,” and the Mickey Mouse comic books.

For those strolling down the street, a new sign by the Toontown Post Office warns travelers to “Share the Road.”

A new cart has rolled up to Good Boy! Grocer in Toontown.

The new cart has a playful wooden appearance to match the rest of the fun and wacky décor in Mickey’s Toontown. It is similar in texture to the crate nearby, with inlaid wood grain and faux wooden nails. Each plank of the cart is unique in texture.

What appears to be cup dispensers were also installed on the side of the stand’s pickup windows, which remain covered by shutters. You can check out the full menu for Good Boy Grocers here on Disneyland News Today.

The final phase of Mickey’s Toontown reimagining is due to open March 19, 2023. The first phase opened on January 27 when Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway first opened to guests.
