If you want to add a little bit of extra wonder to your Disney100 day at Disneyland, you can stop by the popcorn cart in the Hub to pick up this new Purple Mickey Balloon Disney100 Popcorn Bucket.

The new popcorn bucket is available for $19.50 and includes a bucketful of regular popcorn at the time of purchase.

The new bucket is a shiny purple color with Mickey Mouse’s face printed at the front, true to the color scheme of the 100 Years of Wonder celebration. An inverse silver version with a purple Mickey is available at the same cart.

The design on the front is the classic Mickey Mouse face seen on the iconic balloons, which inspired the bucket, rather than the newer art style used in Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway in Mickey’s Toontown.

The back side reads “Disney 100 Years of Wonder” on the door. Just below, “Disney Parks” is embossed.

The strap is silver with purple text and designs. The Disney100 logo and “100 Years of Wonder” are repeated with starbursts and pixie dust trails between.

We found this alongside the other Disney100 popcorn buckets — the silver Mickey balloon design and one shaped like Cinderella’s coach — at the Hub popcorn cart in Disneyland. There’s also a version with the celebration’s art and more vintage depictions of Mickey and the gang available around the resort.

Disney100 Celebration

The Disney100 celebration kicked off on January 27 at Disneyland Resort and features new attractions, entertainment, food, and merchandise across Disneyland and Disney California Adventure. The celebration will soon expand to Walt Disney World once its 50th Anniversary celebration concludes this week.

Guests visiting during the celebration will find two major new entertainment offerings at both parks. First up is “World of Color — ONE” at Disney California Adventure. This all-new nighttime spectacular celebrates the storytelling legacy started by Walt Disney, illustrating how a single action, like a drop of water, creates a ripple that can grow into a wave of change. This is the first Disneyland Resort nighttime spectacular to feature characters, music, and moments from Walt Disney Animation Studios, Pixar Animation Studios, the Avengers, and Star Wars in the same production. You can watch the full show here on Disneyland News Today.

Over at Disneyland, the new “Wondrous Journeys” fireworks spectacular takes the skies nightly. The show transforms Main Street, U.S.A., Sleeping Beauty Castle, the façade of “it’s a small world,” and the Rivers of America into an artist’s canvas with lighting effects, customized projections, and more. This nighttime spectacular by Disney Live Entertainment takes you on an epic adventure through 100 years of Walt Disney Animation Studios’ storytelling. On select nights, “Wondrous Journeys” takes to the skies with sparkling fireworks. You can watch a full performance of the show here.
