The first 2023 “Star Wars” May the 4th merchandise — including apparel, a MagicBand+, and a tumbler — is now available on shopDisney, and will be available soon at Disney Parks.

May the 4th is celebrated annually as “Star Wars Day” due to how much it sounds like “May the Force be with you.” Originating as just a fan holiday, it has spread to Disney and Lucasfilm, and “Star Wars” releases now happen on May the 4th, in addition to the merchandise collections, in celebration of May the Fourth.

Greedo is featured on the front of this black zip-up “Star Wars” hoodie. “May The 4th Be With You” cuts off the bottom of Greedo’s face with the year “2023” just below. The back ushers “Star Wars” fans to “Take me to the Cantina” with a tray of intergalactic cocktails from the Mos Eisley Cantina, direct from Tatooine.

Just above, is the ”May the 4th Be With You” 2023 logo.

For the youngest of Jedi, “Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures” will be coming to Disney+ on May the Fourth 2023. Set in the High Republic era, “Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures” is an animated new series notable for being the first of its kind in the “Star Wars” universe, with a concept specifically geared toward young audiences

A special limited edition MagicBand+ has also been created for Star Wars Day 2023: ”May The 4th Be With You,” the annual event celebrated in a galaxy not far, far away! The yellow center puck features the “Star Wars” logo and, just below, Star Wars Day 2023: ”May The 4th Be With You” design is printed on the black strap. The rest of the Star Wars MagicBand+ strap is lined with Star Wars characters, including Chewbacca, R2-D2, C-3PO, two Jawa, two members of the Figrin D’an and the Modal Nodes band, Muftak, and Kardue’sai’Malloc.

This new MagicBand+ would be the perfect accessory for completing Batuu Bounty Hunters in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
