Adventures by Disney and National Geographic Expeditions have recently declared that effective June 1, 2023, all guests on their trips worldwide will no longer be required to provide proof of COVID vaccination.
COVID Vaccination No Longer Required
Adventures by Disney and National Geographic Expeditions will no longer require any Guests to be vaccinated against COVID-19; however, vaccinations are still highly recommended for all guests, regardless of age effective June 1, 2023.
Adventures by Disney and National Geographic Expeditions have released the following statement:
Beginning June 1, 2023, Adventures by Disney and National Geographic Expeditions will no longer require Guests (regardless of age) to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 at the time of travel, however, it is highly recommended. Guests will continue to be required to comply with any trip-specific vaccination requirements for international trips, as destination and local laws may still require vaccinations. As a reminder, National Geographic Expeditions and Adventures by Disney Private Jet departures will continue to require full COVID-19 vaccination to travel.
NOTE: Adventures by Disney and National Geographic Expeditions strongly recommend that all Guests be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 at the time of travel including a COVID-19 booster shot, if eligible. For international trips, destination and local laws may still require vaccinations. Guests who are not considered fully vaccinated may be prevented from entering certain destinations. Destinations and local laws that require vaccinations may have different requirements and definitions of what constitutes full vaccination and may change those requirements on short notice. This may include requiring additional wait time after the full series of doses and a booster before considering someone fully vaccinated. Guests will continue to be required to comply with any destination and trip-specific vaccination requirements, including those required by our cruise operators.
In addition, Disney released the following guide indicating departure dates and destinations for when a COVID-19 vaccination is no longer required.
The chart states that departures through April 30, 2023 on U.S. Domestic Land will not require a vaccine; however, vacations departing within the next two weeks do require all guests, regardless of age, to be vaccinated for International Land trips, River Cruises, Private Adventures and Expedition Cruises.
For departures beginning on May 1, 2023, U.S. Domestic Land, River Cruises, and Private Adventures do not require a vaccine. International Land trips and Expedition Cruises require 12 and older have proof of vaccination.
Finally, for departures beginning June 1, 2023, no vaccination proof will be required for any of the provided vacation types.
