This year’s Top 5 “American Idol” contestants visited Disneyland Resort this week to get ready for this weekend’s Disney Night episode. Disney shared photos of the contestants enjoying their time Disneyland park and Disney California Adventure.
“American Idol” at Disneyland Resort
Colin Stough, Zachariah Smith, Wé Ani, Megan Danielle, and Iam Tongi got to visit Disneyland Resort with their moms, in honor of Mother’s Day on May 14.
The contestants also got to meet with celebrity mentor Sofia Carson for one-on-one coaching in New Orleans Square at Disneyland park.
Contestants will perform Disney songs live during the Mother’s Day / Disney Night episode this Sunday.
Judges Luke Bryan, Katy Perry, and Lionel Richie, as well as host Ryan Seacrest also got to visit Pixar Pier for “World of Color – ONE.”
“American Idol” already visited Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa, earlier this season. Aulani visits and Disney Night are frequent traditions for the reality competition series.
During the special episode, Halle Bailey (Ariel in live-action “The Little Mermaid”) will perform her rendition of “Part of Your World.” Sara Bareilles will open the night with “When You Wish Upon a Star.”
