Calling all fans of sweet treats — a new Pineapple Crisp Sundae is now available at Tamu Tamu at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

We stopped at Animal Kingdom today to try the new Pineapple Crisp Sundae at Tamu Tamu.
The Pineapple Crisp Sundae reminds us of a crumble cake with vanilla ice cream on top.
After taking the first bite, we found it to taste almost exactly like apple pie, consistency and all. It didn’t really taste like pineapple. If there was any hint of pineapple in there, it was too subtle.
We wish that this came with pineapple Dole Whip instead of vanilla ice cream so that it had a stronger pineapple presence. If you are a fan of apple pie or desserts that come with ice cream, you would like this.
