Not only do guests at the Disneyland After Dark: Pride Nite have a chance to experience a special “Welcome Fireworks” nighttime spectacular, they can also enjoy a special cavalcade down the parade route featuring Mickey and the gang in special costumes!
Disneyland After Dark: Pride Nite Cavalcade
You can watch a video of the cavalcade above, or keep reading. The song used in the cavalcade is “Around the World,” the Pride Month theme from Disneyland Paris.
The cavalcade kicks off with a special Pride Nite banner held by two Cast Members
Projections in rainbow colors sparkle along the buildings of Main Street, U.S.A.
Clarabelle Cow walks by first, in a white dress with rainbow colored triangles along the bottom.
Next up is Donald Duck on one of the Main Street Vehicles.
Two Cast Members walk down the street holding balloons in the colors of the Pride flag.
Finally we see the standard multi-tier cavalcade float featuring Mickey, Minnie, and Daisy. Balloons and streamers cover the sides along with this year’s Pride logo — the Progressive Pride flag colors within Mickey’s gloves in the shape of a heart.
Finally, Goofy and a couple more dancers wave hello and goodbye to guests as the procession ends.
Disneyland After Dark: Pride Nite
Disneyland After Dark: Pride Nite is a separately ticketed event celebrating the LGBTQIA+ community and allies. The after-hours event will include themed entertainment, Disney characters, one-of-a-kind photo opportunities, specialty menu items, and event merchandise. It will begin with a three-hour pre-party mix-in from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. PT. The park will then close and the private party will run from 9:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. PT.
June 13 & 15 2023 at Disneyland Park
- Celebrate at the Pride Nite Cavalcade featuring Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Clarabelle, Donald, Daisy and Goofy dressed in special attire as they make their way through the heart of Disneyland park down Main Street, U.S.A.!
- Join Stitch at the Ohana Dance Party at Tomorrowland Terrace, where a DJ will be spinning great tunes with joyful energy at a dance party that celebrates “ohana” – family!
- The Pride Nite Dance Club will come alive along the Rivers of America, inviting everyone to dance and enjoy music under the stars.
- Kick up your heels with country line dancing at the Golden Horseshoe!
- Picture yourself in fun photo backdrops with inspirational messages or Disney characters and enjoy unlimited Disney PhotoPass digital photo downloads.**
- Enjoy after-hours access to iconic Disneyland attractions such as Haunted Mansion, Indiana Jones Adventure and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, usually with shorter wait times.
Special exclusive snacks include the Chocolate Almond Churro at New Orleans Square, Spiced Beef Potato Loaded Bites at Red Rose Taverne, a Berry Cheesecake Funnel Cake at Stage Door Cafe, and a Grapefruit Lemonade Soda at Galactic Grill.
