This sign advertising the event popped up in between Starbucks and the Cinemark Theatre. It’s happening tonight from 7 p.m. to midnight, with specialty drinks, merchandise, entertainment, and a live DJ. According to firsthand accounts, this event will repeat every Thursday for the remainder of the month.
The Red Coconut Club is a venue for dancing and drinks at Universal CityWalk, located at the top of the escalators that come up from Cold Stone Creamery and Red Oven Pizza Bakery. It’s been known to change themes recently, celebrating whatever major season or event is happening around Universal Orlando Resort at any given time.
During Halloween Horror Nights, it was the Dead Coconut Club, sporting skeletons, spooky lighting, and even the Bride of Frankenstein. We reviewed this venue in its haunted form last September.
When the holidays came around, nutcrackers and a Christmas throne fit for Santa Claus marked the beginning of the Red & Green Coconut Club. We also did a full photo tour of this set-up.
Most recently for Mardi Gras, the Cursed Coconut Club gave guests a bit of Halloween in the spring with a Louisiana-inspired haunting.

Check out the latest pride Spirit Jersey from Universal, and remember, through the month of August, Universal Orlando Resort will be donating 100% of all profits made from “Love is Universal” merchandise to local LGBTQ+ organizations, including the onePULSE Foundation, now marking the 7th anniversary of the tragic events that took the lives of 49 people. Several locals and loved ones attended a remembrance ceremony held at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts in Downtown Orlando earlier this week.
