Autumn is in full swing at Walt Disney World Resort, its arrival punctuated by the re-introduction of Halloween decorations and theming to Magic Kingdom and the commencement of the annual Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. The Dapper Dans have gotten in on the festivities, recently debuting their fall costumes.

We spotted the Dapper Dans performing on the horse-drawn trolley that services Main Street, U.S.A. The trolley circled the hub in front of Cinderella Castle as the group performed songs while wearing their recently re-introduced fall attire.

All of the performers wear the same outfit in this seasonal refresh, this opposed to their usual individual vibrant outfits. Vests lined with burgundy, gold, and green stripes lay over their white dress shirts, complementing the green bow ties and burgundy pants to complete the fall look.

They’re the same costumes that the Dapper Dans have worn during the autumn season in the past. That said, they’re still a nice festive touch. The colors match the profile of the seasonal decorations around Magic Kingdom and contribute to the cohesive environment.

The Dapper Dans are a traditional barbershop quartet that typically performs on Main Street, U.S.A. at Magic Kingdom. Also an original entertainment option at Disneyland, the Dapper Dans have been performing at Magic Kingdom since the park’s opening in 1971. They harmonize over a varied and changing setlist that includes original songs, traditional barbershop tunes, and the occasional Disney classic, filling the time between numbers with jokes and some guest interaction. They play instruments and tap dance as part of the performance, crafting an experience that’s easy on the ears and is uniquely Disney.

The Dapper Dans conduct seven daily performances on Main Street U.S.A. at the following times:

  • 9:00 a.m., 9:50 a.m., 10:40 a.m., 11:25 a.m., 1:15 p.m., 2:00 p.m., 3:40 p.m.

The quartet returned in 2022 following a brief hiatus; the Dapper Dans were taken off Main Street U.S.A from mid-2020 through 2021 due to the Covid-19 crisis. They did conduct a few performances atop the Walt Disney World Railroad station to celebrate Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary.
