The sign for Minion Land at Universal Studios Florida has received a small update, in which some of the Minions’ pointy hair has been flattened or shortened and rounded off.

Previously, the Evil Minion’s purple hair was quite pointy, and extended over the edge of the fencing.

Now, the points of its hair have been rounded off, and the hair no longer extends over the fence.

Here’s what the Evil Minion’s hair looked like prior to the sign update. As you can see, the points of the hair are very prickly, and long enough to go over the fence.

The Minion dangling off the ladder on the right also got a hair update.

Previously, its hair was pointing straight up like small spikes, and now the hair is laid flat on its head.

In this photo from when the sign was first unveiled back in May, you can see what this Minion’s hair used to look like on the far left.

Last week, the Minion dangling off of the ladder was covered with yellow tarp.

Presumably, this was to allow for crews to work on the static figure without disrupting guests’ view of the rest of the sign.
