The refurbishment of Red Rose Taverne and the nearby restrooms in Fantasyland at Disneyland is now complete. The restaurant and restrooms remained open during the refurbishment but scaffolding and scrim covered the façade.
Red Rose Taverne Refurbishment
The scaffolding and scrim have been removed, revealing the refreshed façade.
There are no material differences to the building. The refurbishment was just for repainting and standard maintenance.
Red Rose Taverne is a “Beauty and the Beast”-themed quick-service restaurant with an exterior that looks like a quaint village.
Some of the building’s colors look brighter after the refurb.
The weathervanes from atop the entrance and the clock were removed during the refurbishment, but both are back.
The restrooms are around the corner, past the outdoor seating area.
Their exterior has been similarly refreshed with brighter red shingles on the roof.
Red Rose Taverne Menu
The Disney100 Thermo Tumbler, Stainless Steel Tumbler, Mickey Mouse Sipper, and Star Glow Cube are all available at Red Rose Taverne, as is the Magic Key Tumbler.
The Grey Stuff Gâteau is available all day long.
Breakfast Items
The Bonjour! Breakfast is comprised of scrambled eggs, Taverne Potato Bites, a choice of hickory-smoked bacon or sausage, and is served with a petit croissant. The Gourmet Breakfast Sandwich features an herb blend and creme fraiche egg, maple butter spread, Muenster cheese, and crispy bacon on a brioche-style bun, served with Taverne Potato Bites. The Mickey-shaped pancake is served with berry compote and a choice of hickory-smoked bacon or sausage.
Lunch & Dinner Items
For lunch and dinner, the quick-service location offers Patty Melt Loaded Bites, which are Taverne Potato Bites topped with cheese sauce, ground beef, caramelized onions, Special Sauce, rye croutons, and fresh chives. They also have a Chicken Cordon Bleu Sandwich.
They serve a standard Angus Cheeseburger with lettuce and House-made Signature Sauce on a brioche-style bun, and kid-friendly chicken tenders with Taverne Potato Bites and a choice of dipping sauce. If you’re in the mood for pizza, The Red Rose Taverne also has a variety of flatbreads available with an assortment of toppings.
