D23 Dates Announced For 2024, ‘No Longer Just an Expo’ as Some Presentations Shift to Honda Center

Disney has announced the dates for D23 2024. The event will take place on August 9, 10, and 11 in Anaheim, CA, and, as the official Disney D23 account wrote on X, is “no longer just an expo, but a Disney fan event like no other.”

D23 2024 Dates Announced

Though not officially starting until August 9, next year’s celebrations will commence at Disneyland Resort on August 8, 2024.

Disney is marketing next year’s event as “D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event,” a departure from the former “D23 Fan Expo” branding.

Next year’s event will feature shows and entertainment options, and the Honda Center, an 18,000-plus seat arena located roughly 10 minutes away from the Anaheim Convention Center, will also be utilized. The larger presentations and panels will take place inside the arena.

In addition, there will also be a special D23 Day at Angel Stadium, where D23 fans are invited to attend the Los Angeles Angels vs. New York Mets game on August 4, 2024.

Tickets will go on sale next spring, with ticketing options to be shared at a later date for access to the Anaheim Convention Center and the Honda Center. Admission for D23 Day at Angel Stadium and the kickoff celebration at Disneyland will be offered as separate ticketed events.

Those interested can sign up to receive event updates via email, as well as book hotel rooms for the event at Disneyland Resort hotels or nearby Good Neighbor Hotels.

More details for D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan event will be announced in early 2024.
