Boat transportation across Bay Lake between Disney’s Contemporary Resort, Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campgrounds, and Disney’s Wilderness Lodge will return after a long absence on October 1, 2023. Its return to Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campgrounds and Disney’s Wilderness Lodge was announced on the morning of September 29, with Disney confirming Disney’s Contemporary Resort’s inclusion later that day.

The following statement was issued on the Disney Travel Agents website:

All aboard! Guests can once again sail across Bay Lake between Disney’s Contemporary Resort, Disney’s Wilderness Lodge and Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground on the watercraft “blue route” beginning Oct. 1. This route will be available to Guests daily beginning at 3 p.m., making it even easier to grab a bite to eat at a neighboring resort.

Water taxi service is also available between Magic Kingdom and Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, and Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. Guests can take boats from Disney Springs to nearby resorts. And watercraft sail between EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, BoardWalk, Beach Club, Yacht Club, Dolphin, and Swan hotels.
