The set for Doom’s treat trail is decorated to look like a brick warehouse, with a platform, a barrel of Dip, and a Dip Machine, as seen at the end of “Who Framed Roger Rabbit.”

In the original teaser video for the villain, a barrel of “turpentine” was shown with a pair of shoelaces hanging out of the green goo inside, referencing the traumatic scene when Doom kills a cartoon shoe with “The Dip.”

In his interactions with guests, Doom references “Shave and a Haircut,” and says that he’s looking for a toon rabbit… you might know the one.

Doom was originally portrayed by Christopher Lloyd in the 1988 film. He created “The Dip,” a radioactive-looking green substance that can kill a cartoon once submerged.

Oogie Boogie Bash — A Disney Halloween Party takes place in Disney California Adventure each fall. Historically, the party has included attractions such as Villains Grove, the Headless Horseman, Frightfully Fun Parade, treat trails, Mickey’s Trick and Treat dance party, and photo opportunities. All lands within the park remain open during the Halloween Party, including Avengers Campus.

Unique meet-and-greet opportunities include various Disney Villains. Other past meet and greets included Clarabelle, Daisy, and Minnie posing as the Sanderson Sisters from “Hocus Pocus,” Bruno from “Encanto,” King Mickey and Donald from Kingdom Hearts, and Hercules.

Oogie Boogie Bash was sold out by mid-July, although resellers tried to sell tickets for up to $2,000 on eBay and similar sites.

Are you excited to see Judge Doom at Oogie Boogie Bash when the event officially kicks off tomorrow night at Disney California Adventure? Which other villains are you hoping to see? Let us know in the comments.
