Magic Kingdom

• Walt Disney World has released the full list of special food and beverage items that will be available at Magic Kingdom during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party this year.
• In honor of National Veterans and Military Families Month in November, the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds flew over Magic Kingdom and EPCOT on Monday morning.
• The last night of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is sold out for this year, meaning four dates in total are now sold out.
• Walt Disney World has released the full list of special food and beverage items that will be available at Magic Kingdom during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party this year.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom

• The framework for a new covered seating area in Harambe Market at Disney’s Animal Kingdom is nearing completion.
• Stephan Mikés, known for his sitar performances at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, has sadly passed away, his wife shared on Facebook.
• Kevin from “Up” has flown over to DinoLand U.S.A. in Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

Walt Disney World Resort Hotels

• The cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground have started to be removed to make way for the new Disney Vacation Club (DVC) cabins coming in 2024.
• If you’re heading to Walt Disney World Resort to send off the spooky season in high style, look no further than Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground for Camp-Or-Treat.
• The annual Halloween golf cart parade took place on Monday at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. For this event, guests rent golf carts and decorate them with their own Halloween “costumes,” often inspired by Disney Parks attractions.

New Merchandise

• A Loungefly mini backpack inspired by “The Princess and the Frog” has joined the rest of the 2000s Disney100 Decades Collection at Walt Disney World.

• The 2024-2025 runDisney calendar of events has been released, including the new Disneyland Halloween Half Marathon Weekend as well as several returning races.

Disneyland Resort

• Disneyland Resort has announced they will host a Halloween Half Marathon Weekend in September next year.
• After we shared the rumor on Sunday, Disneyland Resort has confirmed that “Tale of the Lion King” will permanently close after its final performances on January 7, 2024.
• Disneyland Resort announced that Magic Key holders will be able to visit the new Adventureland Treehouse a day before anyone with a preview on Thursday, November 9.
• In honor of the Disney ¡Viva Navidad! festival in Paradise Gardens Park at Disney California Adventure during the holiday season, a new tote bag will be available as a gift to Magic Key Holders this week.
• Celebrate the reopening of Space Mountain — with new effects! — by wearing this new long-sleeved Space Mountain shirt.
• The Mr. Toad ball cap we first found at Walt Disney World is now also available at Disneyland Resort.

Disneyland Paris

• Disneyland Paris shared a first look at the previously announced daytime stage show premiering in February.

Entertainment and Media

• The “Nautilus” series originally produced for Disney+ has found a new home at AMC.

The Walt Disney Company

• The Disney100 Happy Meal toys have begun to arrive at McDonald’s locations. We got our first look at this series in September, followed by a leaked chart of toys last week.
• Former Marvel Entertainment Chairman Isaac “Ike” Perlmutter has handed voting power for his Disney shares over to Nelson Peltz’s Trian Fund Management as Peltz pushes for a seat on the Disney board again.
• After being granted a deadline extension to file their response to Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and the Central Florida Tourism Oversight District’s (CFTOD) motion to dismiss their federal case, The Walt Disney Company has responded to both motions, accusing the parties of taking part in “ongoing constitutional mutiny” and asks the judge to reject the motion.
