Disney’s Wilderness Lodge has two more items inspired by the resort’s totem pole featuring Mickey, Goofy, Donald, and Humphrey the Bear. New this week is a sculpted magnet and a set of salt and pepper shakers.
Both can be found with other Disney’s Wilderness Lodge merch beyond the totem pole at Wilderness Lodge Mercantile off of the resort lobby.
Totem Pole Magnet – $16.99
The three-dimensional magnet depicts Mickey, Goofy, and Donald sitting atop Humphrey the bear with a tree trunk behind them.
Humphrey sits on a base carved with “Disney’s Wilderness Lodge.”
The back of the tree trunk is the flat magnet.
Totem Pole Salt & Pepper Shakers – $29.99
The set of sculpted salt and pepper shakers splits the totem pole in two, but it seems they can be stacked on top of each other.
One shaker includes Mickey, Goofy, and Donald, while the other is Humphrey.
Humphrey the Bear first appeared in the 1950 Goofy cartoon “Hold That Pose.” He went on to appear in four Donald Duck cartoons throughout the 1950s, and then two of his own shorts in 1956 (“Hooked Bear” and “In The Bag”). He has become the de facto mascot of Disney’s Wilderness Lodge.
Humphrey was created by Walt Disney and Jack Hannah, and has been voiced by James MacDonald and Frank Welker. Though he has rarely appeared in Disney films since the 1950s, he has been consistently voiced by Jim Cummings since 1999. He makes a cameo appearance in “Once Upon A Studio.”
