Frosty has turned into frosting on the Melted Snowman Sugar Cookie that has returned to Disney’s Hollywood Studios for this year’s holiday season. It’s available at PizzeRizzo in the Grand Avenue section of the park alongside the Frozen Salted Caramel Hot Cocoa, which is also available at several other locations.

Melted Snowman Sugar Cookie – $4.79

This visually engaging dessert depicts a snowman melting across the top of a sprinkle-infused sugar cookie, and though the scene is tragic, the treat is cute. The cookie looks festive, and the snowman, though in his final moments, looks adorable with his dark chocolate top hat and fallen ‘carrot’ nose.

This surprisingly isn’t your standard Walt Disney World sugar cookie, as it’s softer and not as sweet as you might expect. The comparative lack of sweetness is made up for by the marshmallow snowman, and the dark chocolate top hat adds a nice rich taste that deepens this dessert’s flavor profile. The raspberry flavor in the branch arms is subtle and doesn’t add much to the dish.

While nearly $5 for a single cookie may seem like a lot, this dessert is quite large, making this a cute, festive treat that’s shareable for a group.

Frozen Salted Caramel Hot Cocoa – $5.99

Topped with Mini Marshmallows and Chocolate Sauce (also available with a shot of cherry bourbon – $13.50)

Though “salted” and “caramel” are listed in the name, chocolate is, expectedly, the primary flavor we picked up in the Frozen Salted Caramel Hot Cocoa. That’s not a bad thing, it’s delicious. The chocolate is rich, with the subtle savory and caramel notes combining with the drizzle to create a wonderfully refreshing treat.

The beverage is also available with a shot of cherry bourbon, which overpowers the drink, in our opinion. The cherry flavor isn’t unwelcome, it’s just strong. We prefer the Frozen Salted Caramel Hot Cocoa on its own.

The Frozen Salted Caramel Hot Cocoa is also available at ABC Commissary, Backlot Express, and Rosie’s All-American Café through January 1.
