It was announced earlier today that Walt Disney Imagineering Blue Sky Cellar at Disney California Adventure would close for the space to become a new Disney Vacation Club Welcome Home Center. Disney has since announced that Disney Imagination Campus, currently located in Blue Sky Cellar, will move into the Beast’s Library space in the Disney Animation Building.

Beast’s Library Closing at Disney California Adventure

The Beast’s Library will close to guests after December 10, 2023. Disney Imagination Campus, formerly Disney Youth Programs, has a variety of programs for students and educators. Disney Imagination Campus will begin operations in the Disney Animation Building on December 15.

The rest of the Disney Animation Building will remain open to guests, though Disney Imagination Campus may use other spaces as needed. The building, located in Hollywood Land at Disney California Adventure, includes Animation Academy, Anna & Elsa’s Royal Welcome, and Turtle Talk with Crush. The Beast’s Library is part of the Sorcerer’s Workshop, the rest of which will remain open.
