Head behind the scenes with Tiphaine and Thomas as they prepare the floats for the new show « A Million Splashes of Colour », one of the exciting new experiences we’ll be unveiling at Disneyland Paris on the 10th of February 2024! And don’t forget that this experience is just one small part of Disney Symphony of Colours, which will premiere on the 8th of January with our all-new nighttime drone show.
Symphony of Colors will officially commence at Disneyland Paris on January 8, while A Million Splashes of Color will debut on February 10, 2024, taking guests “on a journey through time to discover the stories of Disney Animation and Pixar.”
The show’s floats are “inspired by art, music, and writing – the core elements at the very heart of Disney Animation and Pixar’s storytelling.” Each float will have its own unique “visual identity” and be packed with references to Disney characters and films.
Disneyland Paris states that the show will have a combination of two original scores and a mashup of iconic songs from both Disney Animation and Pixar films, including “The Bare Necessities” from “The Jungle Book,” “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” from “Encanto,” and “You’ve Got a Friend in Me” from “Toy Story.”
Performers will wear costumes that are aesthetically consistent with the floats during performances, with vibrant multi-colored swirls slowly encroaching on their uncolored black-and-white garb. Minnie and Mickey Mouse will also don vivid new costumes for the show.
A Million Splashes of Color will run at Disneyland Paris through September 2024, according to the resort’s official website.
Symphony of Colors will also include special Main Street, U.S.A. décor and lighting. Glowing flower sculptures will be installed on Main Street in February. The celebration will kick off in January with a new drone show inspired by the Main Street Electrical Parade called “Disney Electrical Sky Parade.”
