At today’s media event for the Donkey Kong Country expansion of Super Nintendo World at Universal Studios Japan, attendees got a first look at the new Donkey Kong-themed Power-Up Bands that will be available for purchase.

Donkey Kong Power-Up Bands

There will be two options to choose from: one for Donkey Kong with an orange and yellow center and a green strap with bananas, and another for Diddy Kong with a green and yellow center and an orange strap with stars.

These two bands will join the already stacked lineup of Power-Up Bands featuring Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, Princess Daisy, Toad, and Yoshi. These interactive wearables are used to engage with the land by earning coins, getting Power-Ups, and participating in boss battles through the use of the Universal Studios Japan mobile app.

The Power-Up Bands are a part of the new merchandise options that will themed to the Donkey Kong Country expansion.
