As we previously reported, Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind at Disney California Adventure will be closed for refurbishment beginning on January 22, 2024. The Disneyland Resort calendar now includes a reopening date for the Pixar Pier ride.

Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind will reopen on February 9. On this family ride, guests “take a sense-sational spin around the whimsical world inside [Riley’s] mind’s Headquarters” with the emotions of “Inside Out.” Watch our full ride POV:

February 9 is as far as the Disneyland Resort calendar currently goes. Astro Orbitor and Grizzly River Run are still scheduled to be closed through that day. The Astro Orbitor closed in late November, while Grizzly River Run will be closed beginning on January 8.

The Sailing Ship Columbia at Disneyland will be closed from January 8 through January 11.

As outdoor rides, it makes sense for these attractions to undergo routine maintenance in the colder months, although Astro Orbitor seems to be getting a more intense refurbishment.
