An interactive “Wish” photo op presented by Meta has opened at Disneyland Resort. “Wish” is the newest Walt Disney Animation Studios film, which opened last month with a disappointing opening weekend box office.
“Wish” Photo Op
The “Wish” photo op is located in this kiosk on the esplanade outside the theme parks, so you can take part even if you are just visiting Downtown Disney District.
The photo op is not far from Earl of Sandwich in Downtown Disney.
It’s open from 10:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
The outside of the kiosk is decorated with movie posters featuring the film’s characters, including Asha, King Magnifico, Valentino, and Star.
Inside the experience are glowing orbs that change colors as one song from “Wish” plays. Guests can dance to the music — which is a little awkward if you are by yourself.
A Cast Member photographs and/or films you with your own phone or camera. The experience rotates through several songs from “Wish” and Cast Members encourage guests to come back to experience different songs.
Disneyland guests can also currently meet Asha from “Wish” outside the Royal Hall in Fantasyland. A Valentino popcorn bucket and Star sipper are available in the parks, too. A “Wish” pre-show is performed before “World of Color – Season of Light.”
