A new version of Star from Walt Disney Animation Studios “Wish” has landed at Walt Disney World. This Star shoulder plush is available in the Emporium at Magic Kingdom.
Light-Up Star Shoulder Plush – $29.99
Star is an adorable round golden-yellow star with soft points and a heart-shaped face.
Star’s eyes and mouth are embroidered onto the plush.
A battery pack is hidden in the back of Star, with a Velcro closure.
A magnet in the bottom of the plush and a pad that goes under your shirt lets Star sit on your shoulder.
There are instructions in the tag.
“Wish” fans can also collect a light-up Star sipper and Valentino popcorn bucket. Asha, the main character of “Wish,” currently has a meet and greet at EPCOT.
“Wish” is directed by Chris Buck and Fawn Veerasunthorn from a screenplay by Jennifer Lee and Allison Moore. The story was conceived by the four. It’s produced by Peter Del Vecho and Juan Pablo Reyes Lancaster-Jones, with Lee and Don Hall as executive producers.
The film combines computer animation and traditional animation, and features dozens of Easter eggs to past Walt Disney Animation Studios films.
“Wish” stars Ariana DeBose as Asha, Chris Pine as King Magnifico, Alan Tudyk as Valentino, Angelique Cabral as Queen Amaya, Victor Garber as Sabino, Natasha Rothwell as Sakina, and Jennifer Kumiyama as Dahlia.
