Pixar’s straight-to-Disney+ releases from over the pandemic — “Soul,” “Luca,” and “Turning Red” — will be coming to theaters after their previous streaming-only releases, according to Variety.

‘Soul,’ ‘Luca,’ & ‘Turning Red’ Coming to Theaters

The three animated films will come to theaters nationwide in 2024, with tickets going on sale starting January 2, 2024.

“Soul,” the 2020 film starring Jamie Foxx and Tina Fey, will open in theaters on January 12, 2024; the movie will be joined by the Pixar SparkShort “Burrow.”

2022’s “Turning Red” will open next on Feburary 9, preceded by the SparkShort “Kitbull.”

The final re-release will be 2021’s “Luca” on March 22, joined by the classic Pixar short, “For the Birds.”

“Soul” was the first Pixar movie to release exclusively on Disney+ for streaming during the COVID-19 pandemic while theaters were closed. “Luca” and “Turning Red” later followed suit.
