Walt Disney World Teases Theme Park Project with Digital Construction Walls in Roku City

In a new Instagram post, Roku, maker of streaming devices and smart TVs, has teased a new collaboration with Walt Disney World Resort that will take viewers to its reference-filled screensaver, Roku City.

Walt Disney World Collaboration Coming to Roku City

In the Instagram post, an image was shared of Roku City and its trademark pink and purple hues. Newly added in front of the bridge, pirate ship, sea monster, and the island prison, though, is a familiar sight for Disney fans.

Digital construction walls have gone up in Roku City, with Magic Kingdom-esque lampposts behind them. Two planters sit on either side of a sign that reads “Pardon our pixie dust” as Tinker Bell herself flies overhead.

When we checked our Roku TV, the construction walls were not present in the actual Roku City screensaver, so it seems this is just a teaser on social media for now.

The post’s caption reads:

Something magical is coming to Roku City…

No other details were shared, but we can’t wait to see how Walt Disney World joins the world of Roku City.

Previous collaborations that brought new additions to Roku City include Carnival Cruise Line and the Warner Bros. Discovery blockbuster, “Barbie.”
