The 2024 D23 Gold Member gift set has been revealed. This year’s set has a “Magic & Mystery” theme featuring Sorcerer Mickey and other Disney magicians.
2024 D23 Gold Member Gift Set
D23 describes the gift set as “a mystery box filled to the brim with the most mesmerizing magic[.]” It’s available to all new and renewing D23 Gold Members in 2024. Note that if you renewed or purchased a D23 Gold membership in late 2023, you will still receive the platinum Mickey sculpture, which was last year’s gift. Members who purchase or renew at any point this year will receive the “Magic & Mystery” set.
One Magic & Mystery Box Collector Set contains a Sorcerer Mickey figurine, one mystery figurine, two mystery pins, a deck of playing cards, a Membership Card, and a Membership Certificate.
This 6-inch Sorcerer Mickey Mouse figurine and the mystery figurines were designed in collaboration with Gentle Giant Studios exclusively for the D23 collector set.
Members will also receive one of these four Magical Mystery Character figurines:
- The Genie – Aladdin (1992)
- Maleficent – Sleeping Beauty (1959)
- Merlin – The Sword in the Stone (1963)
- Mama Odie – The Princess and the Frog (2009)
These figures range from 5 to 7 inches tall. There is also a rare glitter variant of each figurine.
The next mystery of the box is the mystery pins. Members will receive two of these golden sculpted pins in their box:
- Genie’s Lamp – Aladdin (1992)
- King Triton’s Trident – The Little Mermaid (1989)
- Madame Leota’s Crystal Ball – Haunted Mansion (1969)
- Maui’s Fishhook – Moana (2016)
- Miguel’s Guitar – Coco (2017)
- The Madrigal Family Candle – Encanto (2021)
- Yzma’s Llama Potion – The Emperor’s New Groove (2000)
Members who want to collect everything will be able to purchase mystery boxes of the Magical Mystery Character figurines and Enchanted Object pins later in 2024.
The box will also include a playing card deck featuring illustrations of magical Disney characters and creatures. D23 has not yet released a picture of the deck.
Lastly, just like every year, D23 Gold Members will receive a Membership Card and Certificate. This year, they feature Sorcerer Mickey and a light blue background inspired by his magic hat.
A D23 Gold Individual Plan is $99.99/year. A Gold Duo Plan, which is for two guests but only includes one gift set, is $129.99/year. Gold Members also receive access to special events, exclusive merchandise opportunities, and the quarterly “Disney twenty-three” magazine.
